Main Job Responsibilities
  • Bullet PointConduct inventory of parts room quarterly, oversee inventory levels daily
  • Bullet PointWatch all locations inventory levels and as Equipment age out work to return unused parts
  • Bullet PointIssue PO#’s for all Part orders, and stock inventory
  • Bullet PointMonitor warranty parts
  • Bullet PointNegotiate prices/services with vendors then have them approved by Director of Maintenance or Regional Maintenance Manager
  • Bullet PointOrganize and maintain parts room
  • Bullet PointBe responsible for the Freightliner Direct Warranty Program
  • Bullet PointRun reports/create reports for Management so they can look for trends
  • Bullet PointStay current on all new programing for the equipment
  • Bullet PointHelp on the shop floor and with Drivers when needed
  • Bullet PointListen to Roger Dawson’s “The Power of Negotiating” tapes if not already familiar with
  • Bullet PointWork 8 hours per day 5 days per week with occasional overtime

Education and Experience
  • Bullet PointHigh school diploma
  • Bullet PointCollege degree preferred, but not required
  • Bullet Point3 years truck maintenance experience
